Waste workers help recover winner’s almost $2m binned lottery ticket in Italy

An Italian lottery player accidentally discarded a winning ticket worth nearly $2 million (€1 million) into the trash. Realizing the mistake only after family members pointed out that the numbers he had played for years had been drawn, the player sought assistance.
