Wawira Njiru named recipient of the German Africa Prize

Kenyan social innovator and nutritionist Wawira Njiru has been named the recipient of the German Africa Prize 2026. The award is presented by the German Africa Foundation.

Njiru is recognized for her pioneering approach to reimagining school feeding as economic infrastructure through her not-for-profit organization, Food4Education (F4E).
