NewzA South Florida restaurant is garnering attention for its dress code, or lack thereof. On the first Monday every month, CLASS Soiree Steakhouse, located at 121 N. in Hollywood, holds an evening where diners are allowed to partake in a yummy meal without wearing any clothes.
Chef and owner Maurad Ali came up with the concept as a way to attract new business and generate some buzz. Ali said there is a market for this kind of experience, and that the staff are well trained and respectful of their customers. “I’m the chef and owner, my crew, we are all professionals,” said Ali.
He said the restaurant is expecting around 20 people for the latest naked dining experience. Tickets are $250 for men, $150 for women or $300 for couples. Ali said it’s a five-star experience dripping with class and elegance.
“Once you walk through the door, I’ll most likely be nude, no clothes on, so when you come in you do feel more comfortable,” said hostess Tashaeba Hart. As for the legality of the concept, Local 10 News went to city officials. “Yes, it’s legal,” said Joann Hussey, a spokesperson for the city of Hollywood.

The couple who owns the home does not live there. They said it is their second home, but they have had guests there when the criminal shows up.According to the homeowners, the man makes vague threats, has torn cameras off the house and broken multiple windows.Every time he shows up, the couple calls the cops, but the guy always leaves before officers arrive, they said. “We’re scared, very anxious about it, because this guy is targeting our house for God knows why,” said one of the homeowners.
