Western countries increase support for slavery reparations, Ghana says

Ghana announced on Wednesday at the United Nations that Western countries are increasingly supporting efforts to secure reparations for the trans-Atlantic slave trade, which lasted for nearly four centuries.

Foreign Minister Samuel O stated that the campaign's immediate priority is the restitution of cultural artifacts that were looted during the colonial era.
