NewzThe Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect following a road rage incident.It happened on Monday, Sept. in a residential area along the 11400 block of Southwest 185th Terrace. According to deputies, the suspect seen in home surveillance footage was holding a large pepper-spray canister before spraying the elderly victim through her open passenger window.
Deputies said the incident may have stemmed from a road rage incident that followed a minor traffic collision. The subject fled the scene following the incident, with deputies describing his vehicle as a silver, newer model Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan. K-9 units were on scene to assist in the investigation, authorities said. The school was evacuated for precautionary measures, and other schools in the immediate area were placed on a lockdown, according to Davie police. Authorities did not provide any additional information, only asking for people to stay away from the area during their investigation.
