What can Hong Kong travellers expect from the revamped Huanggang border crossing?

The upgraded Huanggang border crossing between Hong Kong and Shenzhen is scheduled to begin service after approximately six years of redevelopment. Sources have indicated that the Huanggang Port Hong Kong Port Area could potentially open as early as September.

Once operational, the revamped facility is set to become Hong Kong's second round-the-clock checkpoint, enhancing cross-boundary travel infrastructure between the special administrative region and Shenzhen.
