White House Filing Claims President Has Authority to Bar News Outlets

The Trump administration has submitted a legal filing defending its authority to bar specific news outlets, including CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, from the White House.

In addition to restricting these organizations from the premises, the administration's policy also excludes journalists from the pool that covers the president in confined spaces.
