He accused his political opponents of believing that voters could be influenced with cash during elections.

I have been giving my people palliatives since I came in. They believe they can give ₦20,000 and money to voters in Osun. My people are smarter,” Adeleke said.

He further accused his opponents of contributing to the economic challenges facing the state, alleging that they had “crippled Osun State’s economy” and were now seeking to use money to influence voters.
