India and Canada are currently engaged in the fifth round of talks for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. Both countries aim to sign the CEPA during Prime Minister Modi's anticipated visit to Canada. The visit is tentatively scheduled for December 11-13, just before the G20 summit in Florida.

Leaders from both nations envision boosting bilateral trade to CAD 70 billion by 2030.
