Withdrawal of donor funding costs RTG US$3m as delayed government payments hit revenues

Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG), one of Zimbabwe’s leading hospitality groups, experienced a significant financial impact during the 2025 financial year due to the loss of an estimated US$3 million in donor-funded business.

In addition to the withdrawal of donor funding, the company's revenues were put under severe pressure by delayed government payments, according to the group's financial disclosures.
