WWII air-raid shelter buried beneath German playground rediscovered during construction work

Construction workers in Germany recently rediscovered a World War II-era air-raid shelter located beneath a local playground. The underground structure had been largely forgotten after being partially back-filled through its ventilation shafts during the era of the German Democratic Republic (GDR).
