Xi wraps up state visit to U.S.

Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded a state visit to the United States on Friday, departing from Washington after finishing his scheduled engagements.

Senior U.S. government officials were present at the airport to see him off as he left the country. A 21-gun salute was fired at the departure site to mark the conclusion of the visit.
