Police officers responded to reports of a burglary at a multi-million dollar home in Studio City overnight. Court records show prosecutors filed a dozen cases against Chiofalo from 2011 to 2013 and six from 2015 to 2021, and about half were alleged burglaries and robberies. A police officer estimated the total loss for the business burglarized on July 25, “including stolen cash, property damage, and replacement costs,” was about $5,200, according to the police report.

Miami-Dade corrections booked Chiofalo shortly after 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center near Doral, according to inmate records. Chiofalo faced three charges: Armed burglary, third-degree grand theft, and criminal mischief of $1,000 0r more.
