Yemeni forces launch offensive to retake Houthi-held al-Waziiya in Taiz

Yemeni forces have launched a military offensive to retake the mountainous al-Waziiya district in Taiz from Houthi control.

The operation targets a strategic area that is considered key to controlling the Red Sea port of Mocha, which was seized by Houthi forces the previous month.
