Yemeni official accuses Houthis of ‘regional aggression’

Abdulmalik al-Mekhlafi, the deputy chairman of the Yemeni Consultation and Reconciliation Authority for Yemen’s Saudi-backed government, has accused the Houthi movement of engaging in "regional aggression."

The official's condemnation, delivered on Thursday, specifically targeted Houthi attacks directed against government positions located in the regions of Hadramout and Marib. According to the Yemeni official, these military actions reflect the movement's true underlying project of perpetuation.
