'Your confidence is most vital': SC to Kapil Sibal after his 'no faith' remark

On Sunday, the Supreme Court of India directed authorities to prevent the illegal detention of individuals participating in peaceful gatherings during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests in Delhi. The directive followed a remark by Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal expressing a lack of faith in the system.

In addition to addressing illegal detentions, the Supreme Court instructed the Centre to ensure that metro services operate normally and that internet access remains uninterrupted throughout the demonstrations.
