Zimbabwe: 'Zanu-PF Would Have Sued Mnangagwa If He Had Refused to Sign CAB3' - Kazembe

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Kazembe Kazembe, stated that the ruling Zanu-PF party was prepared to initiate legal action against President Emmerson Mnangagwa had he declined to sign Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3) into law. Kazembe argued that the President’s role in signing the legislation was a constitutional obligation rather than a matter of personal discretion.
