Zanzibar seals five-year disability inclusion pact

The government of Zanzibar has entered into a five-year partnership with the Norwegian Association of Disabled Zanzibar (NAD Zanzibar) to advance disability inclusion efforts across the islands. The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed this past Friday.

The primary objectives of this collaboration are to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Zanzibar Council for People with Disabilities and to broaden the scope of disability inclusion initiatives throughout the region.
