Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has formally requested that the United States and the European Union implement a total cessation of trade with Russia. Speaking on Saturday, Zelenskyy emphasized that these economic restrictions, alongside additional sanctions, should remain in place until Moscow ends its military aggression against Ukraine.
