American Airlines resumed flights ‌on Tuesday after a nationwide halt to departures over an IT issue, the airline said. DUBLIN, Ireland — An American Airlines flight bound for Philadelphia from Rome was forced to divert to Ireland after several flight attendants became ill during the trans-Atlantic journey because of an odor detected on the aircraft, The New York Post reported. The Boeing 787 landed safely in Dublin, where emergency personnel evaluated affected crew members and a passenger before allowing them to continue their travel plans, according to Fox Business.
