Alberta ministry hit with charges after death of wildland firefighter

The Alberta ministry has been hit with charges under the Occupational Health and Safety act following the death of a wildland firefighter. The charges were formally laid on July 29.

This legal action comes just a few days before the second anniversary of the death of Morgan Kitchen, the wildland firefighter whose passing prompted the investigation and subsequent charges.
