Apoyo canino es decisivo en el decomiso de productos que pretenden entrar a Panamá sin la debida certificación sanitaria

Between January and July 2026, canine units played a decisive role in the seizure of uncertified agricultural and animal products attempting to enter Panama without proper sanitary certification. The operations took place at the Paso Canoas border post, situated between Panama and Costa Rica.

A total of 103.01 kilogramos of products were confiscated during this period. Out of this total, 57.77 kilogramos specifically comprised products of vegetable origin.
