Aseguran en Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, 27 toneladas de ácido tartárico procedente de China: es un precursor de metanfetaminas

Mexican security authorities have seized more than 27,200 kilograms of tartaric acid at the customs office in Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán. The shipment originated in Shanghai, China.

Authorities identified the substance as a chemical precursor used in the production of methamphetamine. The operation was announced by Mexico's Security Cabinet.
