Illinois player wins $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot; Florida player wins $1 million

Someone has won the $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot, marking the largest grand prize since last year, according to lottery officials. The winning ticket was sold at Hy-Vee Gas station in Quincy, Illinois. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were 4, 26, 66, 67 and 69, with a Powerball of 9.The jackpot winner has not yet been identified.

The winner can choose between annual payments or a lump-sum payment estimated at $433 million before taxes.Many South Florida residents were out Wednesday trying to snag the lucky numbers.
