Twelve people die after bus crashes into ditch on motorway in Hungary

Twelve people died and ten others sustained serious injuries when a bus crashed into a ditch and overturned on the M3 motorway in Hungary near the town of Mezőkeresztes. All of the occupants on board the vehicle were Polish citizens.

The bus was carrying a group of Polish tourists and pilgrims who were traveling back from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the time of the accident. Local police responded to the scene following the motorway crash, which left the surviving passengers in serious condition.
