On Monday, August 24, the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced new digital tools, including an electronic visa and an emergency passport, to streamline consular services for citizens residing abroad. The official presentation took place at the Palacio Torre Tagle in Lima.

These initiatives aim to modernize the administrative processes for Peruvians living outside the country. By implementing a digital system, the government seeks to improve the efficiency and accessibility of consular documentation and travel authorization services.
