US Central Command (Centcom) said that its forces had completed a "verification boarding" of the Comoros-flagged tanker M/T Charminar in the Arabian Sea, adding that the vessel was later allowed to continue its voyage. Centcom also said it had disabled the Mozambique-flagged tanker M/T Lavine in the Gulf of Oman on 24 July after the crew allegedly attempted to breach the blockade multiple times and ignored repeated warnings.
