Authorities in Ceuta have initiated the transfer of migrants living in informal settlements on the El Trampolín and Benítez beaches to a newly established temporary camp at the city's port. The operation began early Friday morning, accompanied by security forces guiding a crowd of individuals toward the port facility.

The relocation addresses the situation of more than 4,000 migrants who are currently waiting to secure a space within the facility. Available capacity at the port camp is limited, with varying figures cited between 1,700 and 1,800 available spaces, highlighting a significant deficit in housing capacity relative to the population seeking placement.
