Five people arrested for stealing heavy machinery from public works projects in cities in the eastern part of the region

The Spanish Civil Guard has arrested five individuals suspected of stealing nine pieces of heavy machinery from public works sites located in the eastern Community of Madrid and the province of Guadalajara. The suspects are accused of targeting construction equipment across multiple municipalities in these regions.

Authorities report that the stolen machinery was intended to be dismantled and sold for parts outside of Spain. The investigation into the group's activities led to the identification and detention of the five suspects involved in the operation.
