Colombia searches for over 3,000 missing after a powerful earthquake kills more than 100

Search and rescue efforts resumed on Tuesday across dozens of cities and towns in western Colombia following a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck on Monday. The disaster has resulted in more than 100 deaths, with over 3,000 people currently reported missing as many remain trapped beneath debris.

Local authorities, including mayors and governors from heavily affected areas such as Cali, Pereira, Choco, and Manizalez, are coordinating emergency responses. Rescue teams are actively digging through collapsed structures to locate survivors amidst widespread devastation in the region.
