Council of Representatives of Verón-Punta Cana conditions approval of the POT

The Council of Councilmen of the Verón-Punta Cana Municipal District has conditioned its approval of the Territorial Ordering Plan (POT). The decision was announced following persistent questions regarding the land classification of the La Ceiba-El Salado community.

To move forward with the POT, the council is requiring specific technical verifications to be conducted within the aforementioned area to resolve ongoing disputes and concerns about how the land has been categorized.
