Supreme Court overturns tariffs and issues refunds in the US

The United States administration has refunded approximately $100 billion in tariffs following a Supreme Court decision earlier this year that struck down the majority of those tariffs.

According to judicial documents accessed by AFP on Wednesday, the refunded amount accounts for roughly six percent of the total figure, highlighting the financial impact of the high court's ruling on federal trade policy and government revenues.
