Members of Parliament accumulate streaks of absences without any control

During the legislative session that concluded on July 26, deputies in the Chamber of Deputies accumulated significant numbers of absences from sessions. In several cases, these absences formed long streaks of consecutive missed meetings that were officially recorded as excused.
