Police Chief pushes for police reform in Congress

The Director General of the National Police, Major General Ernesto Rafael Rodríguez García, met with the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting was to advocate for the passage of a legislative reform concerning the National Police force.

During the discussions with Senate President Ricardo de los Santos and Chamber of Deputies President Alfredo Pacheco, the Director General emphasized the necessity of the proposed reforms. The meeting serves as a formal effort to advance the legislative agenda regarding the institutional transformation of the police force.
