The multinational steel company Ternium almost doubled its profits in the first half of the year, earning 482.5 million.

The United States government has processed massive financial refunds to companies affected by tariffs that were previously annulled by the Supreme Court. Depending on the specific report, the total amount processed reached either 121.750 billion dollars by July 10 or roughly 100 billion dollars.

The reimbursed funds stem from tariffs originally enacted under the administration of Donald Trump. While one report notes the tariffs were implemented under a specific law and struck down in February, another specifies they were announced in April 2025 during the so-called 'Liberation Day' and subsequently declared illegal.
