Violence in the border area with Ethiopia causes nearly 20,000 displacements in Sudan

Approximately 20,000 people have been displaced from the Geisan region in Sudan following an escalation of violence near the Ethiopian border. The displacement occurred after the area was recently seized by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and their allied groups.
