De la Espriella will inherit a historic debt, despite Petro's announcement that the Arabs would pay it: it exceeds 250 billion dollars

Colombia faces a historic external debt exceeding 250 billion dollars, which will be inherited by De la Espriella. Simultaneously, in a separate financial development, Argentina's Ministry of Economy executed a public debt reduction operation by repurchasing nearly 800 million dollars in nontransferable bills from the Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina.
