FG orders measures to protect health workers from harassment, assault

The Federal Government has ordered the implementation of measures designed to protect health workers from harassment and assault. This directive follows the submission of findings and recommendations by a dedicated committee.

Prior to submitting its report to the government, the committee reviewed various reports originating from Federal Tertiary Health Institutions. It also engaged in consultations with relevant professional, regulatory, security, and human rights bodies.
