Gabriel Moronta won the 400-meter event at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games, held at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium. The victory took place during an electrifying and memorable track and field session.

The competition unfolded under rainy conditions before a local crowd that offered a roaring ovation. The event also occurred in the presence of Marileidy Pau.
