Germany has shifted from its past conviction that Russian President Vladimir Putin was serious about democracy to becoming, by the assessment of experts, Russia’s public enemy number one in Europe.

According to analysts, the Kremlin is currently deploying deliberate hybrid attacks designed to destabilize Germany ahead of key upcoming elections.
