De la Espriella officially ends the dialogue processes opened by Petro with armed groups

Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella has officially terminated the dialogue processes with armed groups that were initiated by his predecessor, Gustavo Petro, under the policy known as "paz total." The formal end to these negotiations was enacted through the signing of nine resolutions.

Alongside the termination of these talks, the Colombian government revoked the official appointments of government representatives and withdrew the recognitions previously granted to the illegal armed groups involved in the dialogue.
