Gobierno desmintió cifras sobre muerte y movilización de ganado por fenómeno de El Niño: “No hay sustento técnico”

The Colombian government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), has publicly refuted reports regarding the death and relocation of cattle caused by the El Niño phenomenon.

Authorities stated that an exhaustive review of official records found no technical backing or evidence to support the circulating figures regarding bovine mortality and movement linked to the weather event.
