Government carries out titling of lands in national parks of the State

The government of the Dominican Republic announced on Thursday that the majority of state-owned national parks currently lack official land titles, identifying the formal titling of these protected areas as a primary administrative priority.

According to the administration, securing official legal titles for all national parks in the country addresses a longstanding deficiency in the documentation of state property within ecologically protected zones.
