I’ll resign from APC if Tinubu disrespects Catholic Church – Orji Kalu

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has stated that he would resign from the All Progressives Congress (APC) if President Bola Tinubu ever disrespects the Catholic Church. Speaking on Channels Television's Politics Today, the lawmaker representing Abia North addressed ongoing discussions surrounding the administration's posture toward religious institutions.

During the interview, Kalu dismissed claims that President Tinubu is hostile to the Catholic Church. He insisted that the president has maintained a cordial relationship with the church and respects its vital role in national discourse, framing his conditional resignation statement against these allegations of hostility.
