KINGSTON, Jamaica —The Industrial Disputes Tribunal (IDT) has ordered Rubis tanker drivers who have taken industrial action to return to work on Tuesday morning. In a statement late Monday, the tribunal said it had been referred a dispute between Rubis Energy Jamaica Limited and a worker represented by the Petroleum Tanker Drivers’ Association. It ordered that any industrial action that had begun in furtherance of the dispute should cease with immediate effect, and that workers listed for the 6:00 am shift be present to resume duties.
