The Indonesian Navy hospital ship KRI dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo-991 (KRI WSH-991) rescued 11 Papua New Guineans who were found adrift in the Pacific Ocean.
The rescue took place while the Indonesian vessel was carrying out the 2026 Integrated Port Visit Task Force mission while en route to Vanuatu.
