Daesh - linked group kills at least 13 in Congo village

Militants affiliated with the Islamic State group launched an attack on a village in the Democratic Republic of Congo near the border with Uganda early Saturday. The raid resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people, alongside the burning and looting of local homes, according to a local civil society group.
