Leaders of 14 Arab and Muslim countries condemn Israel's "violations" at Al-Aqsa and the Holy Sepulchre

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on August 5th affirming its commitment to maintaining the status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem. The ministry reiterated that religious worship at the site remains exclusively reserved for Muslims.
