Trans-Ecuadorian pipeline operations fully restored after fire

State-owned oil company Petroecuador announced on Friday that operations of the Trans-Ecuadorian Pipeline System (Sote) have been fully restored following a fire that had previously disrupted the critical infrastructure.

The Sote pipeline stands as one of the two primary oil transport systems in Ecuador. The disruption occurred due to a fire incident, though full operational capacity has now been recovered.
