Police identify audio recordings of Cospedal and Villarejo that could incriminate her in the Kitchen case

Spanish police have submitted a report to the National Court identifying audio recordings involving former People's Party (PP) secretary-general María Dolores de Cospedal and former commissioner José Manuel Villarejo. The findings are linked to the ongoing Kitchen case, a judicial investigation into alleged illegal surveillance operations, which has recently concluded its trial phase and is currently awaiting sentencing.

The police report notes that the dates and content of these conversations correspond with entries found in Villarejo's personal agendas. While these recordings have been identified by investigators, they have not yet been formally entered into the judicial case file.
